Challenges

The Living With Environmental Change Partnership responds to 6 strategic challenges which it defined soon after it formed in 2008.

These challenges are what drive the delivery of LWEC's strategy and around which the partnership is organised.

Each Challenge has a dedicated team or steering group of partners who are committed to action. They have to decide both where the gaps in knowledge are and where there might already be knowledge that needs to be shared more effectively. They then need to work out a strategy for addressing any deficits. Their progress is captured on the following pages which are updated by the directorate point of contact for each challenge.

LWEC partners also take action on cross-cutting challenges such as Flooding or Climate Adaptation which involve representatives from each challenge group.
