The Cabot Institute will be holding a summer school from 15 - 19 July 2013. The school will provide advanced training in risk and uncertainty in natural hazards from the Cabot Institute's leading academics plus some special guest lecturers. | CliMathNet Conference Registration Open |

| Water Security for Policy Makers and Practitioners - short course |
Applications are still being taken for the fourth annual water security short course to be held in early summer at the University of East Anglia’s Norwich campus. | PARNASSUS: Ensuring Integrity Preserving Significance |
A one day International workshop, bringing together academics and practitioners from across Europe to discuss current research and thinking in relation to structural effects of climate change on heritage buildings. The PARNASSUS project, funded by the EPSRC-AHRC Science and Heritage programme, investigates the impact of extreme climate conditions, such as flood and freeze-thaw, on built heritage and archaeological sites to devise mitigation strategies.
