Allianz Holdings plc owns the principal insurance operations of Allianz SE in Great Britain. Through its subsidiary companies Allianz Holdings is one of the country’s leading general insurance groups.

Together with a number of other leading insurance companies the group is a founding signatory to the industry’s Climatewise initiative. The initiative was launched by H.R.H. The Prince of Wales in the autumn of 2007.

Andrew Torrance was appointed Chairman of Climatewise in 2008.

Andrew Torrance is a member of the Living with Environmental Change Business Advisory Board.
